Job Description
We are looking for a Specialized Transport Driver. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transport, and unloading of goods and machinery. You will spend a lot of time on the road and maintain close contact with the scheduling department to ensure that every trip is carried out according to schedule and in compliance with applicable regulations.
In addition to driving, you’ll ensure that paperwork is handled correctly, inspect the cargo, and keep the vehicle in good condition. You’ll serve as the face of the organization and help deliver professional service.
What will be your duties
- Loading, transporting, and unloading goods and machinery
- Stay in touch with the scheduling department regarding the progress of trips
- Reporting Delays, Damage, and Other Issues
- Inspecting the shipment upon receipt and delivery
- Properly processing waybills, driver reports, and other shipping documents
- Entering Data into the Onboard Computer and Administrative Records
- Reporting Equipment Malfunctions
- Monitoring the condition and cleanliness of the vehicle
- Recording Deviations and Special Circumstances
What we ask
- LBO work and cognitive level
- Driver's License
- Driver's Licenses Categories B, C, and E
- Good communication skills
- Good command of the Dutch language
- Proficiency in German, English, and French is a plus
- An ADR certificate is a plus
- A TCVT certificate and proof of professional competence as a truck-mounted crane operator are preferred
- An independent and responsible work ethic
